Pain Management

Acupuncture and Chinese medicine have been proven effective for treating most types of pain. According to Chinese medicine principles, pain is a consequence of obstruction to the energy and blood flow due to many different causes such as impact from physical trauma, overexertion, surgery, prolonged illness, significant inflammation, edema, invasion of evils such as wind, cold, heat, damp, deficiencies, degeneration of the body. Once the obstructions in the body are removed which allows energy and blood to free flow again, pain ceases to exist.

At our clinic, we use both acupuncture and Chinese herbs for treating severe or chronic pain. The synergistic actions of acupuncture and herbal medicine produce powerful healing and maximum effectiveness, as well as shortening the duration of treatment. Both acupuncture and herbs are safe for long term use without causing harmful side-effects. Unlike pharmaceutical pain medications, Chinese herbs are strong in their actions and can resolve pain effectively without the side-effects which impair one's ability to function in daily life.
